Simple, secure payment.
Once the technical details of your order are agreed, you pay a 50 % deposit on the design fee. The balance is due only after you approve the final version of your book. Here is how it works:

We go through your photographs, your story and your idea of the book.
Quote
You receive a quote made for your book — design, printing options and a firmly agreed price.
Confirmation
You approve the quote and we begin. The deposit reserves your slot.

How you can pay
No account or registration needed. Invoicing is in euros.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Stripe handles the entire payment. We never see or store your card details.

After the consultation, once you have approved the quote. That is when we e-mail you a secure payment link — nothing is paid upfront on this page.
Which payment methods can I use?
All the usual cards — Visa, Mastercard and American Express — plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. No account or registration required; you complete the payment straight from the link.
I am outside the EU — can I pay?
Yes. We accept cards issued in the USA, in Ukraine and elsewhere. The charge is made in euros; any currency conversion is handled by your bank at their rate.
Is the payment secure?
Every payment goes through Stripe, a certified international payment provider. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure page — Bab City Studio never sees or stores them.
Why 50 %
So that you are not risking the whole amount. The deposit reserves your slot and covers the work done before you see the first preview — reviewing and sorting the photographs, editing the selected frames. The rest you pay only once you know what you are getting.
When you will see the first design
Allow one to two weeks after the deposit has cleared, depending on the size of the book. You need not wait for the whole thing, though — we can send individual spreads as they are finished, so you can respond sooner.
You always get an invoice
We issue a proper invoice for every payment, including invoices issued to companies with a registration number. Invoicing is in euros. We are not VAT registered, so the price quoted is the price you pay.
If the work stalls
If you stop replying and do not supply the material even after a reminder, the order is closed and the deposit is not refunded — it covers the work already done. So please do write to us, even if your schedule changes; we will work something out.
