You take thousands of photographs a year — and most of them stay on your phone forever. Somewhere in that unmanageable pile are the moments that deserve more than a quick swipe. We turn them into a visual experience that holds on to the atmosphere of your finest hours — and brings the memories gently back with every turn of the page.
A photo lab’s editor arranges photographs mechanically — into a grid, one beside the other, in the order they arrived. It cannot tell which frame carries the mood of a place and which is merely proof that you were there.
We look at everything you send us first. Including the shots you would have deleted yourself — those are often the ones holding the atmosphere a well-composed postcard never has. Only then do we build the spread: photographs overlap, complement each other and in places merge into a single image. A standard photo-book editor does not allow this kind of collage and photomontage across an entire spread.

The craft
What goes into a single spread

150frames make it into the book. Many of them only as a crop.
A full dayof work on a single spread. Not an hour. Certainly not a few minutes.
We choose by the quality of the frame, its composition and whether the photograph carries any emotion. Not by how many people are in it or whether everyone is looking at the lens.
Every selected frame is then edited — cropping, exposure correction, white balance, saturation, retouching of distracting elements, sharpening, noise reduction and local adjustments wherever a face, a sky or a background needs them.
Only once the photograph is finished does the design work begin. That is the part no software can do for you.

We have been making photo books since 2010. For fifteen years only for our closest family — no invoices, no deadlines, simply because we wanted a gift that surprises and that you can come back to. Several dozen of them exist. Nine are yours to leaf through, page by page.
Now we make them for you as well. We say so openly, because it changes nothing about what you get — and you can see the result for yourself before paying the full price.
That is exactly what the Starter package is for: for 79 euros you get five spreads designed from your own photographs. If they do not convince you, we go no further and you pay nothing more.
